Attica Exploration is a private oil and gas company that made an entry on to the Norwegian Continental Shelf via the acquisition of Concedo AS in 2023

Attica has an ambition to become a complete E&P company with a strategy to grow organically through exploration. Since the Concedo transaction, the combined entity has significantly increased its seismic database, farmed into two exploration licenses, and was awarded two licenses in the 2023 APA round. Attica and Concedo expect to submit several applications in the 2024 APA. Recently, a small production acquisition was announced and is expected to close in Q4 2024.

 

Concedo currently holds interests in 6 licenses in the North Sea and 1 license in the Barents Sea. The team consist of 15 employees based in Asker, outside Oslo. Attica Exploration AS is 68% owned by Lundin family members with the remaining shareholders being Elliott Advisors UK, company employees, and other private individuals. Attica Exploration AS has no other activities outside those within Concedo.
